Walk, walk, fashion, baby.
A few years back I went shopping for a carpet in Toronto and ended up in a Turkish store, chatting with an Armenian gentlemen. We talked about Kashmiri, Persian, and Turkish carpets, the decline in quality and increase in quantity, we lamented the lack of quality raw materials, the fast fading colours, and most importantly the loss of originality. All said and done my friend ended up getting a beautiful Iranian carpet in wool from them. At the time I thought that his carpet was a steal, today, after hunting for a Kashmiri carpet for over a year and a half I stand corrected.
Monkey and moi are BFF’s. Let’s be real the monkey didn’t wear a suede jacket to be cooped in a car. Watch out Ikea!
