If I ever get a tattoo it’s going to say “Halal” (of course, in Arabic) on my right inner bicep. Spice things up, you know. HAHAHAHA! As if…

Why must life be so unfair? Why must I meet someone in Vancouver? They say “Distance makes the heart grow fonder,” and I’m sure it does, but if I could only meet the person who said that we’d have a nice long chat.
My heartbeat’s rising, there’s no disguising you’ve got me under your control and I don’t want this feeling to stop.
“Enjoy”: priceless! Advice from one bitter soul to another.

“More wine.” Drunk Cersei is far more cruel than a sober one. Keep her away from the inebriation, please.

For a second I thought “How Soviet.” Well, from a dictator to a so-called king.

Iss baat ko beetey hooea ek saal ho gaya hai lekin mein ab bhi un lamhon ko nahi bhoola sakha. Kisi shayar ne sahi kaha hai: “Suna tha waqt marham hai har zakhm bhoola deta hai, har guzra lamha hum ko to ek zakhm naya de jaata hai.” Mein na chahate hua bhi ab Khuda se yehi dua karta hoon ki tumse saamna aab mein siraf roz-e-hashar chahata hoon. Iss duniya mein nahin, iss zindagi mein nahin. Yahan tum taqatwar ho aur mein kamzor hoon. Jab mujh par zulm hua to sabse bade zalim tum the, mein yeh baat kabhi nahin bhoolon ga, kayamat ke din tak yaad rakhon ga aur uss rooz jab mizan kayam ho ga, jab sabse baadi adalat lage gi, sab munsafoy sa baada munsaf insaaf kar raha ho ga tab tumhey kahin panha nahin miley gi. Tumhari saare takat uss rooz khaak main mil jaye gi. Jab tak mein tumhe nahin maaf karun ga tab tak mera khuda bhi tumhe maaf nahin karega.
As much as I love this drama, I cannot help but notice that every single one of the cast members prescribes to the desi definition of physical beauty. Fair, light eyes (where possible), tall, and slim; unashamedly beautiful people residing in immodestly beautiful surroundings. Now, I’m not one to talk because I certainly subscribe to a similar viewpoint, in fact I live it, but it has been a long time since I’ve come across an aesthetically pleasing tele-drama. Of course, this in huge part due to Sarmad Khoosat (the director).
